Homes for Sale in Salisbury
Chesterfield County, VA
Salisbury, located off Robious Road/Huguenot Trail in the northwest section of Chesterfield County has roots dating back into the late 1960's.
Developed around what is now a 27-hole private golf club with excellent tennis and pool complex, Salisbury, as a neighborhood, has provided some of the highest home values in Chesterfield for its many decades of existence. The lots in Salisbury are large, wooded and generally private with a mix of traditional colonial architecture (from the 1970's-1990's) with more 'transitional-styled' homes in later '90's and beyond.
Salisbury's boundaries can sometimes be hard to define as development west of Winterfeld Road are sometimes part of Salisbury and sometimes not. The adjacent neighborhoods of Powderham and Founders Bridge as well as many others surround Salisbury and can create confusion as to what is a part of Salisbury and what is not.
Midlothian High School has been a constant throughout the history of the neighborhood.
